National heritage Shirakawa-go

I visited National heritage site: Shirakawa-go last week.
They have more snow than Takayama.
The man who shoveled the snow in front of a house talked to me.
He said "Snow fall in Shirakawa-go was 5 times in Takayama 10 years ago."
They have more snow than Takayama still now.
We entered the old temple, it was so cold.
We sat around Irori and warmed our feet.
The cover of the Irori was more than 200 years old.
So so it has been fumigated for 200 years with the smoke of woods in Irori.
The temple Myozenji is worth seeing.
The family is living in the temple and expleained about it.
